The three collections of poems in this book span a period of eight years. The topics vary, as well as their meaning, but their source is the same: they are all written from the heart. Some are happy, while others are morose and dark. No matter their content or meaning, all were written as a tool the help the author through the hardest, darkest, and most troubled times of her life. Ms. Kozinski's poetry became a healthy way of "purging" herself of everything that was unwanted, including any dark and disturbing thoughts. By doing this, she rid herself of stressful thoughts and drastic and unhealthy urges. At the end of the day, her work truly is her "poetic salvation."
